Lula Heatley, MSW, MRC, LCSW-C
Lula is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 25 years of clinical experience providing an array of therapeutic clinical services from a biopsychosocial perspective.
Her services address the many stereotypes, prejudices, and stigma society places on individuals experiencing persistent emotional, social, and behavioral health challenges due to mental illness. Consequently, championing and advocating with other professionals and stakeholders involved in developing resources, services, and judicial reform to meet the complex needs of individuals and families affected by mental illness. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW) from Columbia College, Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from the University of South Carolina – School of Social Work, Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling (MRC) from the University of South Carolina Medical School, Graduate Certificate in International EAP from the University of Maryland School of Social Work, and a Graduate Certificate in Psychiatric Rehabilitation from the University of Social Work School of Medicine in Columbia, SC. She is a Maryland Board Approved Social Work Clinical Supervisor, Maryland Board of Professional Counselors Clinical Supervisor, and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor and Clinical Supervisor.
She has extensive experience providing micro, and macro-level services, as an administrator, medical social worker, and psychotherapist in the fields of behavioral health, criminal justice, hospice, home care, addictions, EAP, and as an administrator of several behavioral health programs developing management initiatives to address behavioral health needs and services.
Specific highlights of her career include emotional, behavioral, psychosocial, addictions, and EAP services to individuals that deserve competent, educated behavioral health professionals who respect individual differences. She utilizes cognitive and behavioral approaches to assist each individual in achieving the best evidenced-based care and services they deserve, with integrity and respect for their personal needs and goals as human beings.
As a licensed clinical professional with over 25 years of experience, she provides expert facilitation and delivery of therapeutic behavioral health services, including employee assistance assessments (EAP), mental health, alcohol/other drugs (AOD), and critical incidence response services, i.e., suicide, trauma, PTSD, and other emergency incidents requiring traumatic incidence response services, including a petition of courts for emergency hospital admissions.
Her career is highlighted by a series of advancements with increased breadth and depth of responsibility resulting from her consistent track record of success. During her career, she has successfully achieved program objectives by providing strategic insight for executing organizational goals year-over-year. In recent years, she has been involved in several vital programs and process improvement initiatives as an Administrative Director of the Baltimore City Circuit Court and Baltimore City Juvenile Court Court Medical Evaluation Team (CMET).

Meet Our Medical Director
Kenneth M. Rogers, MD
Dr. Rogers is an adult, child, and adolescent psychiatrist. His research, clinical, and academic focus during his 25-year career has been in the areas of cross-cultural issues, juvenile justice, spirituality, and mental health. Dr. Rogers earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. Andrews College in Laurinburg, NC. He then completed medical school, a residency in general psychiatry, and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of South Carolina. Dr. Rogers later completed a Master of Science in Public Health at the University of California at Los Angeles and a Master of Medical Management at the University of Southern California. He has been a medical school faculty member at the University of South Carolina, UCLA, the University of Texas, and the University of Maryland.
Dr. Rogers specializes in adult and child psychiatric disorders, including ADHD, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, and Anxiety Disorders. He has also provided medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for substance use disorders. Dr. Rogers has worked with attorneys in providing evaluation and treatment in Workers’ Compensation cases. He has also served as an expert witness for psychiatric issues. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Dr. Linda Allibalogun
Dr. Linda Allibalogun is a doctoral-prepared, dual board-certified family nurse practitioner and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She is the owner and CEO at Sound Wellness Center. She has worked in various health settings, including inpatient psychiatry, ER acute care, long term care, prison system, Crisis Intervention, home health, substance abuse, education, and outpatient psychiatry. She is highly experienced in treating and evaluating a broad range of psychiatric disorders including anxiety and depression, ADHD, Bipolar disorder, and other psychotic disorders. She is the founding CEO for a non-profit 501© organization here in Owings mills, where she provides wellness services for undocumented immigrants and their families. With her extensive experience and well-versed knowledge, she currently serves as a Medical Director for a non-profit outpatient clinic in Pikesville, where she provides trauma-informed mental health and wellness services for victim-survivors of sexual trauma, and relationship violence. She has a strong clinical skill enhanced by her natural ability to build rapport with patients and families. She is organized clinically and able to provide sound clinical judgement in difficult situations. She is highly productive, self-motivated and team oriented with a positive attitude. During her leisure time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Tai Ajani
Dr. Tai Ajani is a doctoral-prepared, dual board-certified adult gerontology and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She has more than 20 years of experience as a healthcare provider and has delivered high-quality health care to multicultural patients in outpatient and inpatient settings.
She believes in a holistic approach to mental health which involves addressing your emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual health needs. Using an evidence-based care approach, she will work with you to individualize your treatment plan and treat you with respect, dignity, and compassion in a non-judgmental matter.
Dr. Ajani received her Bachelor of Science from Missouri Western State University, Missouri, Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from University of Maryland University College, Maryland, and Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, Minnesota.
Dr. Ajani completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Massachusetts Global, where she also completed her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Lifespan) with honors. She is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and American Nurses Credentialing Center.
She is licensed to practice in Maryland and Washington, DC.
Brian White
Brian is a therapist specializing in evidence based and informed interventions to address Substance Use Disorders. In his 31st year of recovery, Brian has prepared himself through rigorous theoretical and practical training as a Substance Use Disorder Intervention Fellow at the University Of Maryland School Of Social Work, one of only 14 students chosen for the inaugural cohort, culminating with a Masters of Social Work Degree. While matriculating at the University Of Maryland School Of Social Work, Brian provided Case Management to families at Furman L. Templeton Middle School as an intern with Promise Heights. While at Furman L. Templeton Middle School, Brian participated in restorative circles and facilitated individual and group sessions with students, focusing on Social Emotional Learning. Brian provided Case Management for men in the Weisman House, an inpatient treatment facility for men, while interning at the Tuerk House. Brian facilitated individual and group sessions for the men with a focus on strategies for living drug and alcohol free. While interning at the Tuerk House, Brian performed intake assessments in the Crisis Stabilization Center, a facility for individuals who are under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, in a state of compromised health, and need a safe place to detox and receive short-term medical care and social services. Brian has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Morgan State University and a Master of Science Degree from Johns Hopkins University.

Gwendolyn Joseph-Lewis, M.ed, LGPC
As a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) with a Master of Education in Rehabilitation Counseling, I am deeply committed to providing empathetic and effective mental health support to individuals, couples, and families. With 5 years of experience in the field, I specialize in helping clients navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and foster positive growth. My approach to therapy is client-centered and integrative. I draw from various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and solution-focused therapy. I believe in creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel comfortable, understood, and free to openly explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Throughout my career, I have worked with diverse populations facing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship conflicts, and self-esteem issues.
